“Real gay/lesbian”?
I had a debate on the facebook with a person, who seemed to get rather annoyed on my silly post.

I shall post the whole conversation here, but I’ll shorten the names:
V: you’re gay…we get it! :-P

V: Hard to when you scroll and look at posts n at least once a day you get “I’m gay!!!” rubbed in your face, it’s like “okay…stop telling me about your bedroom interests..”…even my gay/lesbian friends don’t do that :-P

E: Plus. 1) My wall, I post what ever I like! 2) If it bothers you, then hide my posts or remove me from your friend’s list. 3) Yes, I am a bisexual, but I am not rubbing it on someone’s face by posting on MY wall. 4) Look around the internet, and you can not miss a post without stuff like this in it. 5) I found this post hilarious due to it’s sarcasm and 6) Did I already say it’s my wall? E: Being a bisexual has no difference with being a homosexual. So there is no “real gay” or “real hetero”. It’s like saying “Oh! My BEST gayfriend!” Dafuq?
Most of my friends do know I am a bisexual, and those who do not know I support gay marriage. Which is illegal in Finland. I do not run around the town yelling “rainbows and unicorns!” because I do not have to. It’s my life, and my mind. If I post them here, I do not mind if people comment on these kind of things, but to accuse that I am rubbing it on their face - that’s rich.
Homosexuals/bisexuals have a right to get into a registered relationship, but not to get the status “married” in Finland.
And then she removed me from her friend’s list.
So, the point WAS not the whole drama conversation, but the ideal of a “real homosexual”.
If people think that there can be only one type of love - homosexual or heterosexual. Then is anything getting any better?
Why could I not be able to love them both at the same time? Care for the same sex and the other?
This was rich, I say. Rich.
If it’s my facebook, why bother telling me I’m rubbing it on their face? I’d understand it if I went on posting this stuff on THEIR walls, but I am not stupid like that.
It’s like religion: It’s fine if you support it, it’s fine you talk about it, it’s fine you post stuff on your own Facebook wall / Tumblr page / Twitter tweeties. But just don’t come on me. Don’t shove it down my throat with fliers and do not, post that kind of stuff on MY walls.
